This reference contains conceptual overviews, programming tasks, samples, and references to guide you in developing solutions based on Microsoft Office Project.

  • From the product.  To view the developer reference from inside your installed version of Project, click Help. In the Search box, click Project Developer Reference. October 2006 (version 2007) is included with the product.
  • From the Microsoft Download Center.  To download the latest version of the Developer Reference for offline viewing, and to update local copies for use with the product, visit the Microsoft Download Center.
  • From the MSDN Library.  To view the most recent version in the MSDN Library, click items in the table of contents control, displayed in the navigation pane of your browser.

This documentation contains the following section:

  • Reference   Provides reference materials for the Project object model. The Reference section includes four pages of object model diagrams plus a page for each object, collection, property, method, and event in the Project object model.

Running Macros and VBA Code in Toolbars

To increase security, Office Project Professional 2007 and Office Project Standard 2007 do not run macros or VBA code in the toolbars. You can, however, run COM add-ins in the toolbars. For more information about COM add-ins, see the Office Project 2007 SDK.
