Ring Tone Manager is an application that scans the device for audio files. It also lets you copy those files to a directory where they will be recognize as a ring tone file.

  1. Navigate to the solution file (*.sln), and double-click it. By default, the solution file is copied to the following folder:

    C:\Program Files\Windows Mobile 6 SDK\Samples\Common\CS\RingtoneManager

    Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 launches and loads the solution.

  2. Build the solution (Ctrl+Shift+B).

  3. Deploy the solution (F5).

  4. After the program has been deployed, press the left soft key to scan the device for media files. Use the menu to preview, stop, or copy the ring tone.
