IVsTaskItem2::get_Priority Method (array<VSTASKPRIORITY>^)

 

Returns the priority level of a task item.

	array<VSTASKPRIORITY>^ ptpPriority
)

Parameters

ptpPriority
Type: array<Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop::VSTASKPRIORITY>^

[out, retval] Priority (high, normal, or low) of the task item. For a list of ptpPriority values, see VSTASKPRIORITY.

Return Value

Type: System::Int32

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

The priority of the task item is indicated by different bitmaps, which are provided by the environment. For example, a red exclamation mark is placed next to tasks that are of high priority, while a blue down-arrow is placed next to low priority tasks.
