TextTransformation.Finalize Method

Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by the garbage collector. Called by the garbage collector.

Namespace:  Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating
Assembly:  Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.11.0 (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.11.0.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Protected Overrides Sub Finalize
protected override void Finalize()
protected:
virtual void Finalize() override
abstract Finalize : unit -> unit
override Finalize : unit -> unit
protected override function Finalize()

Remarks

The Finalize method will be called by the Garbage Collector only if the Dispose() method does not get called by user code.

This method overrides Finalize. Application code should not call this method; an object's Finalize method is automatically invoked during garbage collection, unless finalization by the garbage collector has been disabled by a call to the SuppressFinalize method.
