3.2.1 Abstract Data Model

This section describes a sample model of possible data organization that can be implemented to support this protocol. The purpose of this description is simply to help explain how this aspect of the protocol works. This specification does not prescribe that implementations adhere to this model as long as their external behavior is consistent with what is described throughout this document.
