XmlWriter::XmlSpace Property
.NET Framework (current version)
When overridden in a derived class, gets an XmlSpace representing the current xml:space scope.

Property Value
Type: System.Xml::XmlSpaceAn XmlSpace representing the current xml:space scope.
Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
None | This is the default if no xml:space scope exists. |
Default | The current scope is xml:space="default". |
Preserve | The current scope is xml:space="preserve". |

| InvalidOperationException | An XmlWriter method was called before a previous asynchronous operation finished. In this case, InvalidOperationException is thrown with the message “An asynchronous operation is already in progress.” |
This allows one component to find out what state another component has left the writer in.
