ApplicationManager::CreateObject Method (IApplicationHost^, Type^)

 

Creates an object for the specified application domain, based on type.

Parameters

appHost
Type: System.Web.Hosting::IApplicationHost^

An IApplicationHost object.

type
Type: System::Type^

The type of the object to create.

Return Value

Type: System.Web.Hosting::IRegisteredObject^

A new object of the type specified in type.

Exception Condition
ArgumentException

A physical path for the application does not exist.

ArgumentNullException

appHost is null.
