Asynchronously initiates the upgrade of role instances in upgrade domains.

Parameters

serviceName
Type: System.String

The name of cloud service that contains the deployment.

deploymentName
Type: System.String

The name of the deployment to upgrade.

parameters
Type: Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Management.Compute.Models.DeploymentWalkUpgradeDomainParameters

The DeploymentWalkUpgradeDomainParameters object that contains the parameters that are used to upgrade role instances in upgrade domains.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

The cancellation token.

Type: System.Threading.Tasks.Task<AzureOperationResponse>

An OperationResponse object that includes an HTTP status code and request ID.

By default, a service is deployed with five update domains, which are updated one at a time during an in-place update. For information on modifying the number of update domains in the service definition file, see Azure Service Definition Schema (.csdef File).
