The 32-bit signed integer to convert.

Return Value

Type: System::Int16

The 16-bit signed integer equivalent of value.

Exception Condition
OverflowException

value is greater than Int16::MaxValue or less than Int16::MinValue.

The following example attempts to convert each element in an array of integers to a 16-bit signed integer.
