3.1.1.2.1 Table Metadata

Each table has associated metadata, which can be retrieved by a client by calling ICatalogTableInfo::GetClientTableInfo (see section 3.1.4.7.1). Table metadata consists of the table's schema, and for historical reasons, an optional AuxiliaryGuid value. This metadata is specified in each table's definition (see section 3.1.1.3).
