Remarks
This type is a wrapper for a coclass that is required by managed code for COM interoperability. Use this type to access the members of the COM interface implemented by this coclass. For information about the COM interface, including a link to descriptions of its members, see InputParameter.
The InputParameter object contains a name/value pair for each parameter passed to InfoPath through a command-line, using the /InputParameters
option, or through a URL string. The following syntax will open a new InfoPath form based on the form template specified and with two name/value input parameter pairs:
Command-line:
infopath.exe "C:\User Forms\DeptReport.xsn" /InputParameters "Dept=Accounting&Class=Introduction"
URL:
https://server/sites/team/training/Forms/template.xsn?Dept=Accounting&Class=Introduction
Note
If the form template is published to Microsoft Office Forms Server 2007 or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 with InfoPath Forms Services, there may be other name/value pairs that are automatically inserted by the server when input parameters are used with a URL. Specific input parameters may have different index values when using a URL than when using the /InputParameters
command-line option.
