Weblets

You can add additional functionality to a Wb site, such as showing the current time and date, by adding a GenericWebPart and associating it with a specific weblet.

You can modify the weblet by setting GenericWebPart properties. The available properties vary depending on the associated weblet. For more information about adding a Web part and setting properties, see Create Web part pages.

The following table describes the weblets that ship with Microsoft Dynamics AX. You can also create a weblet. For more information, see Create Weblets

Description

EPDocumentWeblet

Displays a specified type of document, such as a data sheet or a catalog, for a specified number of days.

HRMEPSkillGapByPositionWeblet

Displays information about skill gaps for a job position.

HRMEPSkillGapEmployeeWeblet

Displays information about skill gaps for an employee.

KMEPQuestionaireAnswerReport

Displays a report that shows answers to a questionnaire.

KMEPQuestionaireResultGroupReport

Displays a report that shows questionnaire results.

WebDateTimeWeblet

Inserts the current date and/or time.

WebFormWeblet

Displays a Web form contained in the Application Object Tree (AOT).

WebImageWeblet

Displays a selected image and a selected Web form or Web report.

You can specify the layout and size of the image.

WebMenuBoxWeblet

Displays a Web menu and menu item descriptions contained in the AOT.

Displays a Web menu contained in the AOT.

WebPageTitleWeblet

Displays the Web page title.

WebProductCatalogItemWeblet

Displays a catalog for a specified product group, such as lamps or accessories.

You can include a link to a Web part page.

WebProductCatalogWeblet

Displays a catalog for all main product groups or for a specified product group.

You can specify the layout of the catalog, and include a link to a Web part page.

WebReportWeblet

Displays a Web report contained in the AOT.

WebUserInfoWeblet

Shows information about the user who is currently logged on to the Web site.

You can indicate whether the language preference, domain, and user name of the current user is displayed.
