Create Web Part Pages
You can create a Web part page for a Web site to provide access to data and functionality. You use Windows Sharepoint Services to create the page.
The Web parts that you add to the page display data and functionality. You can add Web parts that ship with Microsoft Dynamics AX. The following table describes the Web parts.

Windows Sharepoint Services also includes Web parts that you can add to Web part pages. For more information, see Windows Sharepoint Services Help.
You can filter the data displayed by connecting a Web form and Web menu. For more information, see Connect Menus and Forms for Web Part Pages.
You can modify the title of the Web part page by importing and modifying the page definition in the Application Object Tree (AOT). For more information, see Add Web Part Pages to Web Sites by Using the Application Object Tree.

You can modify a Web part page by using Microsoft FrontPage. However, when you add the page to a Web site using the AOT, the page formatting is removed. For more information about modifying the page, see the Microsoft FrontPage Portal Help. |

Navigate to the Web site.
To locate the URL, open the Navigation Pane, and then click > > > . The URL is displayed in the field.

Click Create, and then click Web Part Page.

Specify the page name and template, select a library, and then click Create.
The Web part pages that ship with Microsoft Dynamics AX are based on the Header, Left Column, Body template. To ensure that the Web site has a unified appearance, it is recommended that you select this template for your Web part page.

Drag a Web part to the page from the Web Part List. You might need to click Next at the bottom of the list to see the Web parts.

Click the arrow in the right corner of the Web part, and then click Modify Shared Web Part to configure the Web part for the shared view of the Web part page.

Set the Dynamics Properties as needed. For more information, see Web Part Properties.
You can also set the Web part properties included with Microsoft Sharepoint Portal. For more information, see Windows Sharepoint Services Help.

Click Apply, and then click OK.

Repeat steps 4 - 7 to add additional Web parts.
