GetMonikerReference method

Gets the moniker portion and the location portion of the target.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.GetMonikerReference(dwWhichRef, ppimkTarget, ppwzLocation);

Parameters

  • dwWhichRef [in]
    Type: DWORD

    An HLINKGETREF value that specifies whether to retrieve the absolute reference or the relative reference to the hyperlink target.

  • ppimkTarget [out]
    Type: IMoniker

    The address of the IMoniker pointer to the target moniker object, if any. If this is NULL, the caller does not receive the moniker to the hyperlink reference.

  • ppwzLocation [out]
    Type: LPWSTR

    The address of the location portion of the target moniker, if any. If this is NULL, the caller does not receive the location portion of the hyperlink reference.
