Registers an object in the browse context.

Syntax


HRESULT retVal = object.Register(dwReserved, piunk, pimk, pdwRegister);

dwReserved [in]

Type: DWORD

Reserved. Must be set to 0.

piunk [in]

Type: IUnknown

A pointer to an IUnknown interface.

pimk [in]

Type: IMoniker

A pointer to the IMoniker interface pointer that identifies the object to register.

pdwRegister [out]

Type: DWORD

A pointer to an integer that receives a value that identifies the registration. This can be used to revoke the registration at a later time.
