Using Transforms

This topic documents a feature of Visual Filters and Transitions, which is deprecated as of Windows Internet Explorer 9 and obsolete as of Internet Explorer 10.

This overview suggests further reading regarding how to use a Microsoft DirectX Transform in a Windows application. Internet Explorer provides many prewritten image transforms, such as Blur, and Fade. You can use these prewritten transforms in your applications with only a few additional method calls. You can expand your library of transforms by obtaining them from other transform authors or by writing your own transforms.
