The Data View Window and Visual Database Tools

The Data View window presents a view onto one or more database connections, providing access to the entire structure of the database on a particular connection. The Data View window provides the means to use the Microsoft Visual Database Tools (Query Designer and Database Designer) to visually manipulate that structure of a database.

To open the Data View window, click Data View on the View menu, or click the Data View button on the Standard toolbar.
