Label data fields for chart map types

When using a chart map type, MapPoint will automatically label the data fields in the legend with the column headings that were specified during importing or linking. You may want to rename these fields to relay the type of information that is displayed on the map in a way that is more meaningful to you.

  1. In the second Legend page of the Data Mapping Wizard, click any data field under Legend label that you want to change.

    Note  If you are using a Pie Chart map type, this will be the only Legend page.

  2. Type the name you want displayed in the legend.
