Copy a selected area of the map to another document

  1. On the Navigation toolbar, click Select  Select button.

  2. On the map, position the mouse pointer at the upper-left corner of the area you want to copy.

  3. Drag the mouse pointer down and to the right to draw a selection box around the area.

  4. Right-click inside the box you've drawn, and then click Copy.

  5. Paste the portion of the map into your document.

    To paste in many Windows-based programs, either press CTRL+V or click Paste on the Edit menu.

Note  Remember that copyright rules apply to maps.
