10.10 Exception-Handling Statements

Visual Studio .NET 2003

Visual Basic .NET supports structured exception handling and unstructured exception handling. Only one style of exception handling may be used in a method, but the Error statement may be used in structured exception handling. If a method uses both styles of exception handling, a compile-time error results.

ErrorHandlingStatement ::=
   StructuredErrorStatement |
   UnstructuredErrorStatement
