deleteData method

Removes a specified range of characters from the object.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.deleteData(offset, Count);

Parameters

offset [in]

Type: long

long that specifies the offset from which to start.

Count [in]

Type: long

long that specifies the number of characters to remove.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
