methodStr Function [AX 2012]

Validates that the specified method exists in the specified class; if not, a compiler error occurs.


str methodStr(class class, int method)

Parameters

Parameter	Description
class	The name of the class.
method	The name of the method to validate.

Return Value

The name of the specified method if valid.

This function is an intrinsic function, which is a metadata assertion function. Intrinsic functions take arguments that represent entities in the Application Object Tree (AOT) and validate these arguments at compile time. They have no effect at run time.
