Export (Form)
Command > Export
Use this form to export selected application objects from the Application Object Tree (AOT) or to export objects from a selected layer. To export all objects from a layer, make sure that the root node is selected when you click Export.

You can select more than one object for exporting, but the file name displays only the name of the top selected node. All other nodes selected for export will be included within this node. |

Specify a name and location of the export file (.xpo). Alternatively, select one of the recently used export file names from the list. |

Specify the path and file name of the export file. |

Include all ID values in the export. Selecting this option includes the ID value from the Properties page for each object exported. |

Lock the exported application objects so that they cannot be modified by other developers during export. |

Send the exported file as an attachment to an e-mail. Selecting this opens the default e-mail client after the export. |

|
Include labels used within the exported objects in the export file. When you select , a drop-down list displays the languages available for export. |
|
|
Export objects from a layer other than the current one, which is by default. Selecting this check box enables the application object layer list where you must choose a layer. |
