Click Sales and marketing > Setup > Distribution > Modes of delivery.

Use this form to set up modes of delivery for customers and vendors. The mode of delivery is the means of transportation that is used when an order is delivered from the seller to the buyer. Use a mode of delivery when you record orders and purchases.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

| Setup | Enter information for the shipping carrier that is associated with the selected mode of delivery. | ||
| Retail channels | In Retail, add the online store that uses the selected mode of delivery.
| ||
| Products | In Retail, include or exclude one or more products from the mode of delivery that is used in the online store.

| Addresses | In Retail, include or exclude one or more addresses from the mode of delivery that is used in the online store.

| Mode of delivery | Enter an alphanumeric code for the mode of delivery. The code can be up to 10 characters long. For example, you can enter UPS for United Parcel Service or FedEx for Federal Express. | ||
| Description | Enter the full description of the current mode of delivery. This description appears on printed forms such as sales orders and customer invoices. | ||
| Expedite | Specify that the mode of delivery is expedited by default. For more information, see Expedite orders.

| Service | Select the type of shipping service that is used for the selected mode of delivery.
| ||
| Carrier ID | Select the identification of the carrier service that is used for the selected mode of delivery. | ||
| Carrier company | The carrier company name that is associated with the carrier ID. | ||
| Account code | Select the account code that represents your company's account number for the shipping carrier. Typically, account codes are set up for each warehouse or other location from which products are shipped. | ||
| Line type | In Retail, in the Products and Addresses FastTabs, select whether to include or exclude a line from the mode of delivery that is used in the online store.
