Multiple Events

The following illustration shows that events can occur anywhere in the Exchange store and that the same event sink class can be called for multiple Exchange store events.

You register with the server to receive event notifications by saving a registration item to the store. Where you save the item defines the scope (location and range) of where the event notification will fire. For more information about event scopes, see Registering for Recursive Events.
Note
Microsoft® Exchange runs each event sink notification on a unique out-of-process thread on the local machine.
