Set default application layer

Use the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Configuration utility to specify the application layer that opens when you start the Microsoft Dynamics AX client. For more information about application layers, see Layers.
Open the configuration utility. Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Configuration.
In the Configuration target list, click the configuration that you want to change.
On the Developer tab, in the Application object layer to open list, click the layer that you want to open. Click Apply, and then click OK.
