Use the Staging Service page to do the following:

  • Configure the service account for the Commerce Server Staging Windows Service.

  • Create the CSS_SG Windows User Group with all the necessary permissions to run the Staging Service. Commerce Server will add the service account to this group.

  • Create the "CSS Administrators" and "CSS Operators" Windows User Groups for staging.

  • Configure the IIS Virtual Directory for the Commerce Server Staging Reporting Service.

Note

To successfully configure the Commerce Server Staging Reporting Service, ASP must be installed on the Internet Information Services (IIS) Web server where the Commerce Server 2007 Configuration Wizard is run.

Configure Reporting Service for Commerce Server Staging

Click to configure IIS for the Staging Service.

Clear the check box if you do not use Commerce Server Staging service.

Login Name

Type a Windows account that you will use to run the Staging Service, or click Browse to open the Select User dialog box to enter the user name.

Password

Type the password for the account.
