Exchange Store URLs

Topic Last Modified: 2006-06-12

The following sections outline in detail how to construct URLs for items in the Exchange store.

The method you use to construct URLs depends upon the URL scheme, for example, whether you use The File: URL Scheme or The HTTP: URL Scheme. In addition, which URL you use to address an item depends on the access protocol or component you use to access it. For example, you can use both File: and HTTP: URLs to identify items and folders when using the server-side Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007  OLE DB Provider. You must use HTTP: URLs when addressing items that use the WebDAV protocol.
