Remove the MapPoint Office COM add-in

Open the Office program from which you want to remove the MapPoint Office COM add-in.
Open the COM Addins dialog box.

To open the COM Addins dialog box
1. On the Tools menu, click Customize.
2. On the Commands tab in the Customize dialog box, click Tools in the Categories list.
3. Drag the COM Add-ins button to your toolbar.
4. Close the Customize dialog box.
5. Click the COM Add-ins button to open the COM Addins dialog box.
Clear the Microsoft MapPoint Add-in check box, and do one of the following:

To unload (temporarily remove) the MapPoint add-in, click OK.

To remove the MapPoint add-in from the COM Add-ins dialog box, click Remove, and then click OK.

To reload the add-in to an Office program, select the Microsoft MapPoint Add-in check box in the COM Addins dialog box.

If you reinstall MapPoint, the add-in is also reinstalled.
