Exchange store events enable you to develop applications that can be triggered by events (such as when an item is saved or deleted), as well as being triggered by timer and system events.

The Exchange Store Event Sink Wizard for Microsoft® Visual Basic® creates a Visual Basic project of commented code for creating a Microsoft ActiveX® control dynamic-link library (DLL) as your event sink.

Note  The Exchange Store Event Sink Wizard can only be implemented in Visual Basic 6.0 and not in Microsoft .NET Framework applications.
