Great Plains sample application overview

The Business Portal SDK includes a sample application (Develop.cnk) that integrates with Great Plains. This application includes a maintenance form used to track potential customer leads. The lead information maintained by this form is stored in the IG001 table, located in the current company’s database.

To access the Lead Maintenance form, choose Cards > Sales > Leads.

The sample also contains the Contact History form used to extend the functionality of the Customer Maintenance window in Great Plains. This form tracks contact information for each customer, and stores data in the IG003 table, which is also located in the current company’s database.

To access the Contact History form, open the Customer Maintenance form in Great Plains, display a customer record, and choose Extras > Additional > Contact History.

The Great Plains sample application included with the Business Portal SDK is based on the sample integrating application that is included with Dexterity®.
