ISecurityObjectTypeInfo

ISecurityObjectTypeInfo interface

The ISecurityObjectTypeInfo interface provides a means of determining the source of inherited access control entries (ACEs) in discretionary access control lists (DACLs) and system access control lists (SACLs). The access control editor uses this information to communicate the inheritance source to the client.

When to implement

You can implement the ISecurityObjectTypeInfo interface as part of your implementation of the ISecurityInformation or ISecurityInformation2 interface.

When to use

Applications do not call the ISecurityObjectTypeInfo methods. The system calls the interface methods to communicate with the client.
