IisTraceListener::TraceData Method (TraceEventCache, String, TraceEventType, Int32, array<Object>)

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Writes trace information, an array of data objects, and event information to the output of the IisTraceListener class.

Parameters

eventCache
Type: System.Diagnostics::TraceEventCache

A System.Diagnostics::TraceEventCache object that contains the current process ID, thread ID, and stack trace information.

source
Type: System::String

A name that identifies the output. This is typically the name of the application that generated the trace event.

eventType
Type: System.Diagnostics::TraceEventType

A System.Diagnostics::TraceEventType value that specifies the type of event that caused the trace.

id
Type: System::Int32

A numeric identifier for the event.

data
Type: array<System::Object>

An array of objects to write as data.

This method is not intended to be called directly by application code. The members of the System.Diagnostics::Debug, System.Diagnostics::Trace, and System.Diagnostics::TraceSource classes use this method to write trace data.
