GenericXmlSecurityToken::CanCreateKeyIdentifierClause<T> Method

Gets a value that indicates whether this security token is capable of creating the specified key identifier clause.

Type Parameters

T

A SecurityKeyIdentifierClause that specifies the key identifier to create.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean
true when T is not nullptr and the same type as either the InternalTokenReference or ExternalTokenReference property values; otherwise, false.

Use the CanCreateKeyIdentifierClause<T>() method to determine if a GenericXmlSecurityToken security token can create a specific key identifier. To create the key identifier call the CreateKeyIdentifierClause<T>() method.
