ExtenderCATID Property (General Extensibility)

Visual Studio .NET 2003

Returns the Extender category ID (CATID) for the object.

[Visual Basic .NET]
Public ReadOnly Property ExtenderCATID() As String
[Visual Basic 6]
Property Get ExtenderCATID() As String
HRESULT __stdcall get_ExtenderCATID(
   /* [out, retval] */ BSTR* retVal
string ExtenderCATID {get;}
[JScript .NET]
public function get ExtenderCATID() : String

Returns the GUID representing the CATID of the object as a string.

Note   The CATID is typically specific to an implementation of an object. For example, Project.ExtenderCATID is different for a Visual Basic .NET project object compared to a Visual C++ .NET project object.

Sub ExtenderCATIDExample()
   Dim objDoc As Document
   objDoc = DTE.ActiveDocument
   If Not (objDoc Is Nothing) Then
   End If
End Sub
