Root Property
Specifies the registry root for a registry search on the target machine. The search will be performed only under the root specified by the Root property.
Tip To search for a registry key under multiple roots, add multiple registry searches in the Launch Conditions Editor and add a condition that checks the results using the Or operator.
Settings
The settings for the Root property are:

| HKLM | Searches the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE root. |
| HKCU | Searches the HKEY_CURRENT_USER root. |
| HKCR | Searches the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT root. |
| HKU | Searches the HKEY_USERS root. |
