Designer Defaults, Common Properties, <Projectname> Property Pages Dialog Box

Visual Studio .NET 2003

The Designer Defaults property page in the Common Properties folder contains the following properties:

Web Designers Group

Page Layout
Indicates whether Web Forms pages added to the project should be laid out in a linear (one-dimensional) or grid (two-dimensional) format by default. This project property can be overridden on a file by means of the Properties window.

Target Schema
Specifies the HTML platform you want to ensure that your application is compatible with. This project property can be overridden on a file by means of the Properties window.

Web Scripting Group

Client Script Language
Specifies the script language that will be used when code is generated for you to run on the client. This project property can be overridden on a file by means of the Properties window.
