Windows Applications as Clients

Visual Studio .NET 2003

This section describes how to consume a Report Web Service with a Windows application as the client.

To consume a Report Web Service with a Windows application

  1. Create a Windows Application project.
  2. Insert a Windows Forms Viewer into the Windows Form in the application.
  3. Add the Report Web Service to the Windows application.
  4. Bind the Report Web Service to the Windows Forms Viewer.

When you build and run the project, the application displays the report by consuming its Report Web Service.
