Error: unable to retrieve the file <name> from the master network server

The development environment cannot copy the Visual InterDev project you are deploying from the master copy.

Try the following:

  • Check the master copy on the server to see if it is corrupt, or if you have permissions to access the master. Deploy again.

  • Use the Get Local Copy command with the Visual InterDev project. Deploy again.
