Web Services
The Status Report form uses two Web services, described below, to obtain user and project information. InfoPath uses this information to pre-populate certain fields of the form.
Active Directory User Data Web Service
The Active Directory User Data Web Service (ADUserDataWS) provides user profile information to the caller. The user profile information is generally public, directory-class information that is related to a specific person. The Web service also detects the identity of the caller and can return the corresponding user profile information. The Web service obtains user profile information by using the portal object model to query the profile database.

EnterpriseProjects Web Service
The purpose of the Enterprise Projects Web Service (EnterpriseProjectsWS) is to provide project information to the caller. This Web service accesses the ProjectInfo table of the enterpriseprojects SQL server database to return project information identified in Table 3 above.
