FPC Components
The two main components of the SPMLLV FPC are:
Multi-Library List View (MLLV) Web Part. This is the main UI element that is embedded into the Web Part Page. When the Web Part is loaded for the first time, none of its properties are set, so it can not display any rollup data. Once its properties are set by the Configure Libraries tool part, it rolls up all matching document and form library entries in the current SharePoint site and tabulates the data into an HTML table. These properties are persisted in the site database for future use.
Configure Libraries tool part. This component allows the user to configure the Web Part display. The first time the user opens the tool part, he selects whether to show document or form libraries, which ones to display, and which fields to list in the Web Part. These settings are then transferred to the Web Part. In subsequent loads, the current Web Part settings are automatically loaded in the tool part.
