Code Librarian Viewer User Interface Reference

The Code Librarian Viewer provides a simple way to view, search, and copy code snippets from your code databases. The code snippets cannot be modified, and new code samples cannot be added in the Code Librarian Viewer. The Code Librarian Viewer supports drag-and-drop capabilities in copying code snippets.

Some features of the Code Librarian Viewer include:

• View a code snippet
• Search for code snippets
• Copy and paste code snippets

To open the Code Librarian Viewer, from the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, then Microsoft Office XP Developer, and then select Code Librarian Viewer. In addition, you can open the Code Librarian Viewer with the shortcut on the Windows desktop.

  The Code window displays the code item that is currently selected in the Code Librarian Viewer Explorer.

  This window displays the results of a query you perform and makes it possible for you to select a code item easily.
• Find in Code Librarian Viewer
  From this dialog box, you can conduct a query for code items in the Code Librarian Viewer.
