HTML Forms and the Form Renderer

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

The form renderer handles form rendering and HTML provides the markup for the form.

This combination, specifying an HTML form in the formurl and the form renderer (exwform.dll) in the executeurl, is the easiest way to create Exchange Web forms. The HTML forms are less complex to author and the rendering engine, the form renderer, is ready to use and provides full rendering capability with no additional coding. The disadvantage of this method is that it does not allow for complicated form creation. This method is recommended for creating simple forms using read-only data bound properties.
