Create Language-Specific ASP and HTML Pages

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

To provide additional language versions of an Exchange store application, all HTML and ASP for the application must be localized for the new languages or locales. Localization can include the following tasks:

  • Adapting form layout to meet local preferences.
  • Localizing the user interface elements on the Web page.
  • Translating message text.

The following topics provide additional information about creating and implementing locale-specific resources.

Register Language-Specific Resources describes language-specific form registrations.

Save Forms in Appropriate Character Sets describes the encoding in HTML and ASP files that specifies the character set and the page language.
