This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

The MXAT DLL contains three stand-alone objects. You can instantiate and use any of them in your code depending on which object model you are working with. The three atFunction objects implemented for Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003 are as follows:

  • The MXOLAT object is used with Microsoft Outlook® items.
  • The MXCDOAT object is used with Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) items.
  • The MXADOAT object is used with Microsoft ActiveX® Data Objects (ADO) items.

This model gives you the flexibility to use most of the implemented atFunction methods with any object model you choose. Installing and Registering the atFunctions DLL describes how to install and register the object interfaces.
