XhtmlMobileTextWriter::WriteHiddenField Method (String)

Writes the markup for a hidden field to the output stream using the provided name. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

Parameters

name
Type: System::String
The name of the hidden field.

The WriteHiddenField method is useful for pages where client-side code will add and modify the value of this field for postback, because no initial value is provided.

This method is used primarily by developers of custom mobile page and control adapters.
