IIdentity Interface

Defines the basic functionality of an identity object.

public interface IIdentity

The IIdentity type exposes the following members.

Public propertySupported by Portable Class LibraryAuthenticationTypeGets the type of authentication used.
Public propertySupported by Portable Class LibraryIsAuthenticatedGets a value that indicates whether the user has been authenticated.
Public propertySupported by Portable Class LibraryNameGets the name of the current user.

An identity object represents the user on whose behalf the code is running. This interface is implemented by the GenericIdentity and WindowsIdentity classes.
