Name Field, Paym. Journal Batch Table

Here you can enter the name of the journal batch you are creating. You can enter a maximum of 10 characters (both numbers and letters). The name can be, for example, the name of the bank.

You can have the program number the journal batches automatically with each posting by including a number in the journal batch name. For example, the name KBC1 will change by one number with every posting, to KBC2, KBC3, and so on.

The name must be unique. A name cannot appear twice in the same table. You can define as many payment journal batches as you like.

In order to gain access to the other fields in the Payment Journal Batch table, you have to fill in the Name field first.
