Fiscally Closed Field, Accounting Period Table

There is a check mark in this field if the accounting period belongs to a fiscally closed year.

To fiscally close a year, click Fiscal Closing, Fiscally Close Year. After you do this, all the periods in the year will be fiscally closed, so there will be a check mark in this field.

After a fiscal year is fiscally closed, no more general ledger entries can be posted. Thus the Allowed Posting Range does not include fiscally closed years.
