Shipment Method Code Field, Item Ledger Entry Table

This field shows the code for the shipment method for the entry.

The field can be filled in from the following fields:

If the entry was posted from an item journal line, the code is copied from the Shipment Method Code field on the journal line.

If the entry was posted from an order, invoice or credit memo, the code is copied from the Shipment Method Code field on the sales or purchase line.

You cannot change the code because the entry has been posted.

The code is used for reporting to INTRASTAT and will appear on the Intrastat Journal.
